Sometimes there is a situation when we develop the file draft for common usage. And we need to hide the formulas in the cells from users. Now, we observe how to do it.
For instance, we have a file draft, which employees of some firm have to fill in. During filling it in the file calculate score. So, for eliminate manipulation by the data, we need to hide the formulas.
For this select the cell, press right mouse button and choose the point Format cells... Dialog box is displayed and at the tab Protect affix the tick Hide formula and press ОК.
In order to the changes to take effect we need protect current sheet (ribbon Review, group Changes, button Protect sheet):
Now, even we select the cell, an information is absent in the formula bar.
