GETURL() Description

The GETURL() function is intended for obtaining site addresses from text.

Syntax:

=GETURL(Text; Entry)

Parameters:

• Text: The text from which you need to get site addresses.
• Entry: Serial number (entry) of the required address. It can also have a negative value, which means searching for an entry from the end of the tape. If the value is 0 - returns all occurrences.

Example Usage

The GETURL() function is easy to use. You just need to enter any text and specify the serial number of the required site address, and LibreOffice Calc will automatically return the specified entry:

=GETURL("Technology is everywhere, from ..."; 0)

We will have the following result:

This example uses the following values:

• Text: A3 - Text from which site addresses should be obtained ("Technology is everywhere, from ...") .
• Entry: B3 - Display all entries (0) .

Extension "YouLibreCalc.oxt"

You can use the GETURL() function by setting the extension " YouLibreCalc.oxt ". After that, this function will be available in all files that will be opened in LibreOffice Calc.
