CLEANTEXT() Description

The CLEANEXT() function is designed to clean text from all characters except letters.

Syntax:

=CLEANTEXT(Text)

Parameters:

• Text: Text to be cleared of non-alphanumeric characters.

Example Usage

The CLEANTEXT() function is easy to use. You just need to enter any text and LibreOffice Calc will automatically clean it of all characters except letters of the alphabet:

=CLEANTEXT("Invoice #100235 (21.05.23)")

We will have the following result:

This example uses the following values:

• Text: A2 - Text to clear ("Invoice #100235 (21.05.23)") .

Extension "YouLibreCalc.oxt"

You can use the CLEANEXT() function by setting the extension " YouLibreCalc.oxt ". After that, this function will be available in all files that will be opened in LibreOffice Calc.
