Add new sheets

Sheet > Add new sheets from selection...

This utility quickly adds new worksheets based on information in a selected data range.

A new worksheet will be created for each selected cell, and the contents of the cell will be used to name the new worksheet.

For example, you need to quickly add sheets for each quarter of 2023.

Click YLC Utilities > Sheet > Add new sheets from selection... :

Do you recognize any of these situations?

• Is it possible to insert 100 new worksheets at once or do I have to click insert sheet 100 times?
• We need to insert 30 worksheets, each with a different name, into an existing LO Calc workbook. Is there a quick way to do this?

Decision

Simply select the cells that contain the names for the new worksheets and select the following tool from the LO Calc menu:

YLC Utilities » Sheet » Add new sheets from selection...

How much time will it save?

Using this tool, you are guaranteed to save time and effort. However, the actual time savings depends on how often you use LibreOffice Calc, the amount of data you work with, and how often you use the tool.
