NBEU() Description

The NBEU() function is designed to automatically obtain the value of the official euro exchange rate directly from website of the Central Bank of the European Union (ecb.eu) by the specified code and date.

The NBEU function makes working with exchange rates much easier, especially for those who work with finances or keep records in different currencies. Instead of manually entering rates, you can simply use this function to get up-to-date data.

Also, you can use "Official Currency Exchange Rates" tool , which inserts the exchange rate for selected cells in one click.

Main Features Functions NBEU

Syntax:

=NBEU(CurrCode; CurrDate; [Modifier])

Parameters:

• CurrCode: The letter code of the currency for which you want to get the rate.
• CurrDate: Date of currency exchange rate setting.
• [Modifier]: (Optional) Data display type. Calculation base: 0 - Euro, 1 - foreign currency. By default, Euro is used, i.e. the value "0".

Example Usage

The NBEU() function is easy to use. You just need to enter the currency code and date into the appropriate cells of the formula, and Excel (Calc) will automatically receive the current exchange rate:

=NBEU(CurrCode; CurrDate)

This example uses the following values:

• CurrCode: A2 - letter code of the US dollar ("USD") .
• CurrDate: D1 - date of course establishment ("01.03.23") .

You can use the function NBEU() by installing the extension YLC Utilities .

After that, this function will be available in all files that are opened in Excel (LibreOffice Calc) .
