Writing a number or sum in words

Number & Date > Spell/write out numbers or amounts...

This utility converts numbers to words in selected cells.

For example, a number "12,75" written in English words with US dollars, that is, it becomes: "Twelve Dollars and Seventy Five Cents" .

You can write the numbers as numbers or as an amount (for example, for use on a check).

By default, there is no currency (there will be a number in letters). The choice is dollars, euros or you can also enter another currency.

If the number contains more than two decimal places, this function will write the number as if it had been rounded to two decimal places.

How much time will it save?

Using this tool, you are guaranteed to save time and effort. However, the actual time savings depends on how often you use LibreOffice Calc, the amount of data you work with, and how often you use the tool.
