CLEANDIGITS() Description

The CLEANDIGITS() function is designed to clean text from all characters except digits.

Main Characteristics of the CLEANDIGITS Function

Syntax:

=CLEANDIGITS(Text)

Parameters:

• Text: The text to be cleaned from non-digit characters.

Usage Example

The CLEANDIGITS() function is simple to use. You just need to enter any text and Excel (Calc) will automatically clean it from all characters except digits:

=CLEANDIGITS(Text)

We will get the following result:

The following values are used in this example:

• Text: A3 - Text for cleaning ("(508)453-56-78").

After this, this function will be available in all files that will be opened in Excel (LibreOffice Calc).
