Import of currency rates from the website of the National Bank of Ukraine

NBUA() Description

The NBUA() function is intended for automatically obtaining the value of the official exchange rate of the Ukrainian hryvnia directly from website of the National Bank of Ukraine (bank.gov.ua) by the specified code and date.

The NBUA function makes it much easier to work with exchange rates, especially for those who work in finance or keep records in different currencies. Instead of manually entering the rates, you just need to use this function to get up-to-date data.

Main Features Functions NBUA

Syntax:

=NBUA(CurrCode; CurrDate)

Parameters:

• CurrCode: Letter code of the currency for which you want to get the exchange rate.
• CurrDate: The date of setting the exchange rate.

Example Usage

The NBUA() function is easy to use. You just need to enter the currency code and the date in the corresponding cells of the formula, and LibreOffice Calc will automatically get the current exchange rate:

=NBUA("USD"; "01.03.23")

We will have the following result:

This example uses the following values:

• CurrCode: A2 - letter code of the US dollar ("USD") .
• CurrDate: D1 - rate setting date ("01.03.23") .

Extension "YouLibreCalc.oxt"

You can use the NBUA() function by setting the extension " YouLibreCalc.oxt ". After that, this function will be available in all files that will be opened in LibreOffice Calc.
