SUMINWORDSVAT() Description

The SUMINWORDSVAT() function converts any number into a written sum in Ukrainian with VAT (Value Added Tax).

Quite often, for accounting purposes, the cost of a trade transaction needs to be written down in words. For example, the amount 10,568.23 to express in words as "Десять тисяч п'ятсот шістдесят вісім гривень 23 копійки, у т.ч. ПДВ (20%) 1761.37 грн." , that is, the required amount in Ukrainian with VAT, but in Excel there is no standard function for such purposes.

=SUMINWORDSVAT(Amount; VatRate; [Format])

The SUMINWORDSVAT() function is easy to use. You just need to enter any number into the formula, specify the VAT rate and the option to display the amount in words, and Excel automatically converts values to text:

=SUMINWORDSVAT(Amount; VatRate; Format)
