SUMINWORDSVAT() Description

The SUMINWORDSVAT() function converts any number into a written sum in Ukrainian with VAT (Value Added Tax).

Quite often, for accounting purposes, the value of a trade transaction needs to be spelled out in words. For example, the amount 10 568,23 display in writing how "Десять тисяч п'ятсот шістдесят вісім гривень 23 копійки, у т.ч. ПДВ (20%) 1761.37 грн." , i.e. the required sum in writing in Ukrainian with VAT, but there is no standard function for such purposes in LibreOffice Calc.

Main Features Functions SUMINWORDSVAT

Syntax:

=SUMINWORDSVAT(Amount; VatRate; [Modifier])

Parameters:

• Amount: The number to be converted to text.
• VatRate: VAT rate in percentage.
• [Modifier]: Optional. The type of display of the calculated VAT amount: 0 - in numbers, 1 - in words. By default, the value "0" is used.

Example Usage

The SUMINWORDSVAT() function is easy to use. You just need to enter any number in the formula, specify the VAT rate and the option to display the amount in words, and LibreOffice Calc will automatically convert the value into text:

=SUMINWORDSVAT(10568,23; 20; 1)

We will have the following result:

This example uses the following values:

• Amount: A2 - Number to be converted to text (10568,23) .
• VatRate: B2 - The VAT rate is 20% (20) .
• Modifier: C2 - Result display option. In this case, we will display the amount of VAT in writing (1) .

Extension "YouLibreCalc.oxt"

You can use the function SUMINWORDSVAT() by setting the extension " YouLibreCalc.oxt ". After that, this function will be available in all files that will be opened in LibreOffice Calc.
