GETCOMMENT() Description

The GETCOMMENT() function is designed to get a cell comment.

Also, you can use the ready-made tool "Copy Comment to Cell", which automatically copies the comment for selected cells.

Syntax:

=GETCOMMENT(Cell)

Parameters:

• Cell: The cell from which to get the comment.

Usage Example

The GETCOMMENT() function is easy to use. You just need to specify the cell with the comment, and Excel (Calc) will automatically return its comment text:

=GETCOMMENT(Cell)

We will get the following result:

In this example, the following values are used:

• Cell: D4 - The cell from which to get the comment ("Engaging again with a different product. Get the client material ready.").
