NBAM() Description

The NBAM() function is designed to automatically obtain the value of the official exchange rate of the Armenian dram directly from website of the Central Bank of Armenia (cba.am) by the specified code and date.

The NBAM function makes working with exchange rates much easier, especially for those who work with finances or keep records in different currencies. Instead of manually entering rates, you can simply use this function to get up-to-date data.

Also, you can use "Official Currency Exchange Rates" tool , which inserts the exchange rate for the selected cells in one click.

Main Features Functions NBAM

Syntax:

=NBAM(CurrCode; CurrDate)

Parameters:

• CurrCode: The letter code of the currency for which you want to get the rate.
• CurrDate: Date of currency exchange rate setting.

Example Usage

The NBAM() function is easy to use. You just need to enter the currency code and date into the appropriate cells of the formula, and Excel will automatically receive the current exchange rate:

=NBAM(CurrCode; CurrDate)

We will have the following result:

This example uses the following values:

• CurrCode: A2 - letter code of the US dollar ("USD") .
• CurrDate: D1 - date of course establishment ("01.03.23") .

You can use the function NBAM() by installing the extension YLC Utilities .

After that, this function will be available in all files that are opened in Excel .
