Change to lower case

Text > Change to lower case

Makes all text in selected cells lower case.

For example, "This is a test" becomes "this is a test".

Launching this tool

Click YLC Utilities > Text > Change to lower case:

Same as in MS Word

In MS Word, you can use Shift+F3 to change the case of selected text.

In LibreOffice Calc, you can also use the Shift+F3 key combination to change case alternately.

If you often forget this key combination, then, fortunately, you can also use the YLC Utilities extension to quickly change the case.

Just select the cells, then use this tool:

YLC Utilities » Text » Change to lower case

How much time will this save?

By using this tool, you are guaranteed to save time and effort. However, the actual time savings depend on how often you use Excel (Calc), the amount of data you work with, and how often you use this tool.
