Change to lowercase

Text > Change to lower case

Makes all text in the selected cells lowercase.

For example, "This is a test" becomes "this is a test."

Running this tool

Click YLC Utilities > Text > Change to lower case :

Just like in MS Word

In MS Word you can use the Shift+F3 keys to change the case of the selected text.

In LibreOffice Calc you can also use Shift+F3 to change case one by one.

If you often forget this keyboard shortcut, then fortunately you can also use the YLC Utilities extension to quickly change the case.

Just select the cells and then use the following tool:

YLC Utilities » Text » Change to lower case
