Import of currency rates from the website of the National Bank of Kazakhstan

NBKZ() Description

The function NBKZ() is intended to automatically obtain the value of the official exchange rate of the Kazakh tenge directly from website of the National Bank of Kazakhstan (nationalbank.kz) by the specified code and date.

The NBKZ function makes it much easier to work with exchange rates, especially for those who work in finance or keep records in different currencies. Instead of manually entering the rates, you just need to use this function to get up-to-date data.

Main Features Functions NBKZ

Syntax:

=NBKZ(CurrCode; CurrDate)

Parameters:

• CurrCode: Letter code of the currency for which you want to get the exchange rate.
• CurrDate: The date of setting the exchange rate.

Example Usage

The NBKZ() function is easy to use. You just need to enter the currency code and the date in the corresponding cells of the formula, and LibreOffice Calc will automatically get the current exchange rate:

=NBKZ("USD"; "01.03.23")

This example uses the following values:

• CurrCode: A2 - the letter code of the United States dollar ("USD").
• CurrDate: D1 - rate setting date ("03.01.23").

After that, this function will be available in all files that will be opened in LibreOffice Calc.
