Fill the cells with their formatted value

Number & Date > Fill cells with their formatted value

This utility replaces the contents of selected cells with their formatted values.

For example, if you have a cell with a value «384216938» and with formatting «000 - 000 00 00» , then it will be displayed as «038 - 421 69 38» .

By applying this tool, the numerical value «384216938» will be replaced with a text value «038 - 421 69 38» .

This can be useful when you export data using a LO Calc file, because often an external program will read the values in the cells, ignoring their formatting.

Click YLC Utilities > Number & Date > Fill cells with their formatted value :

How much time will it save?

Using this tool, you are guaranteed to save time and effort. However, the actual time savings depends on how often you use LibreOffice Calc, the amount of data you work with, and how often you use the tool.
